A Low FODMAP salad dressing you can buy at your grocery store

O Organics Lemon & Olive Oil dressing should be tolerated by most people on the Low FODMAP diet.

Salad dressings are rarely Low FODMAP. They often contain onion and garlic, and watch out for sweeteners like high fructose corn syrup. Creamy salad dressings might have dairy products, too.

Fortunately, there’s one Low FODMAP dressing I’ve found at the grocery store. The good news is that it’s sold at the Safeway brand grocery stores, which are part of Albertsons. That means Randalls, Safeway and other grocery stores carry it. It’s a big chain so there’s probably a location near you.

The O Organics Lemon & Olive Oil ingredients are:

Water, organic extra virgin olive oil, organic sugar, organic distilled vinegar, organic lemon juice concentrate, organic passionfruit juice concentrate, less than 2% of: salt, xanthan gum, organic spices.

Spices always give me pause. Is garlic a spice? Could there be onion?

I reached out to the chain to confirm if there was any garlic or onion in the dressing. They confirmed that there is not.

The best part is that this is a tasty dressing that works on most salads.

Enjoy!
