Keeping track of which foods are high in FODMAPs and which aren’t is very difficult. Thankfully, there are a couple of apps you can keep on your phone to quickly search for foods.
One is the official app from Monash University. Because this app’s data comes directly from the FODMAP researchers at Monash, it’s frequently updated with the latest data. In addition to a searchable database of foods, it includes recipes and a diary to keep track of your symptoms.
You can download the app on iOS and Android. It’s not cheap–the iOS version is $12.99 and the Android version is $9.00–but it’s worth it.
While the Monash app is great and the most up-to-date resource, searching can be a bit slow. That’s the idea behind Fast FODMAP, an app that makes it very quick to look up foods. Oh, and it’s also free. Download it on iOS or Android.
